American Framed Cabinet Construction Description
This new elegant Iris Style kitchen cabinet adopts a standard American framed cabinet structure. A solid wood face frame is installed around the cabinet opening to enhance rigidity. Doors, drawers and hinges are mounted onto this frame.

Differences Between Framed and Frameless Cabinets
The core difference between framed and frameless cabinets lies in cabinet construction. Framed cabinets feature an exposed front frame around the cabinet box opening, while frameless cabinets omit this frame, with doors mounted directly to the cabinet side panels for a sleeker look. Further distinctions are listed below:

Iris Style Design Features & Colors
Iris is an exclusive refined double thin-stile door design supplied by our Vietnam factory. Like classic Shaker doors, it adopts a 5-piece door construction. On this basis, routing grooves are milled at the center of the door frame, leaving delicate trim lines along the edges. Compared with conventional cabinet doors, it delivers a lighter and more elegant aesthetic.
Door Profile: 5-piece construction with double thin recessed borders. Raised lines run along the edge of the recessed center panel, matching the raised lines on the outer frame. The overall design is balanced and layered.
Popular Matte Finishes:
Solid colors: Matte White, Soft Gray, Navy Blue — modern tones with consistent, texture-free coloring.
Stained wood tones: Ivory, Oak, Mocha, Black Oak — offering a warmer natural feel.
Two-Tone Combinations Available: Dark base cabinets paired with light upper cabinets, a top-selling color scheme in the North American market.
Flexible Mix & Match: Solid wood Iris doors can be combined with matching glass doors for display cabinets, alongside open shelving.
Modular System for Various Floor Plans
New Elegant Iris Style Framed Kitchen Cabinets follow North American standard sizing. They are compatible with all mainstream kitchen layouts, including L-shape, U-shape, straight-run, galley, and freestanding islands.

Production & Quality Control for New Elegant Iris Style Framed Kitchen Cabinets
As a long-term exporter serving the US, Japan and UK markets, we enforce stringent production and quality control standards. Our cabinets meet rigorous market requirements, helping bulk buyers gain stronger competitiveness.
1. Incoming Raw Material Inspection
Testing is conducted on plywood, solid oak and MDF substrates: moisture content (8–12%), formaldehyde emission, veneer grade and dimensional tolerance. FSC / CARB P2 / E0 certificates are provided for every batch.
2. CNC Precision Cutting & Boring
Panels are cut by automatic panel saws and CNC boring centers per specifications with a tolerance of ±0.2mm. Holes follow the 32mm system, compatible with hinges, shelf pins and OVVO connector slots.
3. Door Profiling & Sanding
Iris door profiles are routed by CNC routers. Three-stage sanding (80 grit → 120 grit → 180 grit) plus hand-finished soft chamfering on edges. Dovetail drawers are processed with dedicated dovetail jigs.
4. Hanging Spray Coating + UV Curing
An automated hanging spray line carries out stain / primer / glaze application, paired with an automated return conveyor for UV topcoat curing. A 3–5 coat system (sealer primer → intermediate coat → sanding → topcoat) is applied, color-matched against customer color swatches.
5. Assembly & Pre-installation of Hardware
Face frames are pressed and fastened. Cabinet components are cut and bored to size. Hinges are pre-mounted and calibrated; drawer slides are fitted in place.
6. Full Inspection & Trial Assembly
100% full inspection covers finish color, uniform door gaps (±1mm), hinge operation, drawer slide smoothness and completeness of hardware. One cabinet unit is randomly selected from each batch for trial assembly.
7. Export Packing & Container Loading
RTA flat-pack procedure: foam corner protection → 5-layer carton packaging → wooden bracing reinforcement for fragile areas. Markings include project order number, cabinet code and orientation labels. Units are loaded into 40ft high-cube containers, secured with stretch wrap and cushioning fillers.

Maintenance Instructions for New Elegant Iris Style Framed Kitchen Cabinets

Daily Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with clean water or a small amount of mild neutral detergent, then wipe off all residue and water stains with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive tools such as steel wool or scouring pads.
Moisture & Sun Protection: Wipe up standing water on cabinets promptly; avoid prolonged soaking which may cause moisture damage. Extended direct sunlight can discolor finishes, so keep cabinets away from direct UV exposure.
Hardware Maintenance: Keep pulls, hinges and slides dry. Apply a drop or two of lubricant if movement becomes stiff. Tighten screws immediately if doors become loose or pulls wobble.
Avoid Overloading: Do not place heavy items in wall cabinets. Add center supports for wide spans of shelving to prevent deformation that leads to misaligned doors.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: Are Iris framed cabinets inset, full overlay or partial overlay?
A: The Iris door profile works for framed cabinet boxes in full overlay, partial overlay and inset configurations. Inset Iris doors are our premium popular option for high-end kitchen projects.
Q2: Are painted cabinets durable in high-humidity coastal areas?
A: Yes. The UV topcoat forms a sealed protective film. The cabinet boxes use plywood instead of particleboard, so they are less prone to moisture-induced swelling and shrinkage. For projects in Florida, the Gulf Coast and Pacific Northwest coasts of the US, the premium birch plywood version is recommended. All exposed edges of vanity cabinets in these regions receive additional edge sealing treatment.
Q3: Can I order Iris framed kitchen cabinets for wholesale or multi-family projects?
A: Yes. We supply wholesale and multi-unit housing, hotel and commercial renovation projects. MOQ is one 40ft container, production lead time 45–60 days.
Q4: Are Iris framed cabinets RTA ready-to-assemble?
A: Yes. We produce both pre-assembled framed cabinets and RTA flat-pack Iris cabinets for convenient ocean shipping and on-site assembly.
Q5: What kitchen styles match Iris framed cabinets?
A: Iris style fits transitional, farmhouse, traditional, modern classic kitchens. It works well with quartz countertops, shiplap hoods and simple metal bar pulls.
